4.022 (Design Studio: Introduction to Design Techniques and Technologies) was a class I took Spring 2022. For the final project I worked with Sangita Vasikaran, Jessica Pan and Michelle Escobar.

Our project, Controlled Deflation was inspired in corals. We wanted to explore how to create a model of coral reefs with balloons and somehow the project ended having a very interesting twist in exploring how balloons deflated when covered in a layer of glue.
